Wedding Day!!

Yawn!! It's 530am when my alarm rang, felt so sleepy. Heng my eyes were not swollen, thanks to the heat pack I used to apply on my eyes the night before I went to sleep.

My MUA, Lily arrived punctually at 550am when I'm still in a daze haha, and I just stone and let her do my make-up and hairdo. It's great to have a MUA that you trust and you can communicate well with. She totally understand what kind of look I like and I'm satisfied with every look she dolled me up.

My videographer was Christopher from Forest Productions. I was really happy with SDE video made by Christopher at the end of the day. We were worried that the SDE might be boring, but he did a really great job! The SDE was joyful and interesting to watch! It's exactly the feel we wanted!

Our photographer, Dick was arranged by Feline Bridal. I was quite displeased with the arrangement process as the coordinator for the arrangement of the photographer, Alan, was not very responsive and he only told us who will be our photographer one day before our actual wedding day despite us kept texting and calling him on this. But nonetheless, Dick arrived punctually and took great pictures for my wedding day and dinner banquet.

Okay.. And at 8am, I'm all ready! With my sisters!!

Hubby arrived!! And my sisters and cousin were busy rushing down to 'welcome' him and the brothers! Hahaha..

It's game time and my hubby forgot our ROM date!!!! Look at his guilty face!! *Slap Slap Slap*

And then, that's the great Singapore Workout! LOL..

The famous flushing pose! LOL

The Photogenic Guy.. Even when doing Singapore Workout.. LOL

Yummy breakfast time! Erm.. Seems too easy.. My sisters are such nice people!

After that are a series of snatching ang baos, bargaining and hubby and brothers singing and dancing in order to win the keys to open my door. Haiz, it's so bored being the bride. I can only wait in the room and cannot see the funny actions happening outside.

Hubby, you must keep to the promises ah..

Here we go! To the hubby's parents house for tea ceremony..

And then back to my parents' house for tea ceremony. Haha. Shall not bore you guys with the details for tea ceremony.

It's a mistake to open the top of the convertible on a hot sunny day while on the expressway.. The wind blowing onto us was hot and there're a few trucks driving past us. We were nearly choked!

After all the phototaking and tea ceremony, that marks the end of the morning part for the wedding.
The kua that I'm wearing was too damn hot!! I'm sweating!!

A big thank you to all who woke up so early to help us on our wedding day! ^-^

Finally.. My pre-wedding photoshoot photos!

It's been a long time since I last blogged. I've been really busy since I'm back in Singapore. Started my full time job in January, and need to juggle between wedding preparations and renovation of my new house. Oh my, really shouldn't have started work. A full time job seriously is taking too much of my time and energy, such that I don't have enough time for my personal stuff. Finally, my wedding was over and my new house is more or less settled, and I can now sit down and blog about my memorable wedding and introduce my simple but cosy house.

Pre-wedding photoshoot by Feline Bridal
Our pre-wedding photoshoot was taken on 23 Dec 2013. That was not an easy day for me. I was down with flu and I woke up with teary and swollen eyes. The photoshoot nearly had to be postponed as I kept tearing and my MUA was not able to put on any eye make-up for me. Fortunately, after having some hot soup, my eyes doesn't tear that much and my MUA proceeded with the make-up. I must praise my MUA, Lily, for the excellent job! Her make-up skill is fantastic, my swollen eyes was totally concealed! So I happily changed into my gowns and proceed with the indoor photoshoot.

Next, is the outdoor photoshoot. We chose 3 places for the photoshoot: Hort Park, Tanjong Beach at Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands.

Our first stop was Hort Park. Oh my god! That's a terrible start to my outdoor shoot. I usually dun like to walk on grass but the photographer said that it's good to have some greenery background in the photos to make it nicer. So I forced myself to walk into the grasslands. Just after a few shots, I felt something stinging my bum and thigh!! I kept screaming and jumping in my wedding gown! Hubby tried to flip my gown to see what's in there and suddenly a hornet flew out from the can can. I was stunned and I cried. The hornet really made my outdoor photoshoot an 'exciting' one.

Must treasure the pictures I posted here leh, I took them with great pains, like literally. The hornet stings were red, swollen and itchy for almost a month before they started to heal.

Okay, so after that I insisted that we leave that place and we went to the famous spiral staircase at Hort Park to take pictures.

After the trauma, time was getting late, so I changed into the other gown and we continued our photoshoot at Tanjong Beach and Marina Bay Sands.

Okie, shall end this blog with my pre-wedding photoshoot photos. Next blog post will be on my actual day wedding!
